Good Tuesday evening. We have some heat on the way for tomorrow and Thursday. Wildfire smoke from Canada is expected to enter the region tomorrow though. The thickest smoke is expected to be across Northern New England but smoke expected to be across all of New England. Expect a smokey red sunrise before the heaviest smoke tapers off and moves east by the afternoon and evening hours. Highs tomorrow expected to be HOT! Widespread mid to upper 80s across the interior. Highest terrain in the 70s across the mountain peaks. Mid to upper 70s expected along the immediate coast this time of year but baking just inland. Dew points in the 50s so humidity not that bad. No rain is expected. Highs on Thursday expected to be once again in the mid to upper 80s with low to mid 90s expected across interior Southern New England! Dew points in the 60s so it will feel a bit tropical out there. Upper 70s, low 80s along the immediate coast. A few scattered storms are expected across Northern New England Thursday afternoon-evening. Smoke will be much thinner on Thursday but you will still notice a bit. We cool things down for Friday with highs in the 70s across NNE. Low to mid 80s across SNE. Afternoon and evening storms and downpours likely developing especially across Southern New England but more details to come over the next few days as we get more clarity. Saturday once again is looking wet! Stay cool and hydrated over these next few days as Summer temps arrive for two days.
Summer heat arrives Wednesday and Thursday but smoky skies Wednesday
