Good afternoon. A very hot day is ahead across SNE Thursday with scattered severe storms expected between 3-9 PM. Highs expected to be in the low to mid 90s across SNE with "Feels Like" temps expected to peak near 100 degrees with dew points in the upper 60s, low 70s. Very soupy air. Stay hydrated out there.
The storm threat for tomorrow is not looking as impressive as it was earlier in the week with a slower moving cold front but scattered severe storms are still expected across the region especially across the interior between 3-8 PM. Any storms that do develop will be capable of producing damaging winds, hail, and localized flash flooding with high dew points. Keep your eyes on the sky and stay weather aware during the afternoon-evening! Stay tuned to the instagram story for the most frequent updates tomorrow
