Good Monday morning. The final week of August has arrived! Summer is flying by as we head into September. Today (Monday) will feature temps in the 70s and low 80s across the region. Dew points in the 60s for the first half of the day today but a cold front this afternoon-evening will drop the dew points into the 40s, low 50s! Scattered downpours and a few storms are expected today along that cold front. A low risk for severe storms. Any downpour or weak storm will be moving quick and should drop less than half an inch of rain. These quickly fade away after 8-9 PM. Plenty of sun Tuesday with highs in the upper 60s across NNE and 70s as you head south. 70s right through Friday but the higher elevations will remain in the 60s across NNE. A spotty shower Tuesday through Friday. Wednesday may feature a bit more action in the afternoon but nothing compared to what we saw last Wednesday with the widespread rain. Low temps will be in the 40s starting Tuesday night across NY, VT, NH, ME away from far southern areas right into the weekend! Quite chilly folks! Low-mid 50s across SNE for the lows. Another weak front approaches late Thursday. Some showers may come with it but the risk would favor later in the day towards Thursday night. Next weekend looks dry with temps in the 70s! Overall, feeling like fall this week! September is on our doorstep. We will keep you updated
