Good Wednesday morning! Another very hot day today with highs in the upper 80s, low-mid 90s across the region before we cool down to end the week
We finally have some rain on the way today. While not a widespread heavy rain event, we will see some developing downpours with some storms moving from west to east today. A cluster is likely to form around 1-3 PM across NY into western New England and will move into eastern New England between 5-8 PM before moving offshore by 10 PM. Can't rule out a few severe storms mixed in there but this isn't anything like we dealt with earlier this Summer. We will see 1-2", potentially even a few very isolated areas that cash in on 2-3" of rain today. We could use it! Stay weather aware out there today and stay hydrated with a hot day ahead!
