Good morning! Welcome to May! The months are flying by and May has arrived. We will be kicking off the new month with temperatures in the 60s to low 70s across the interior. A seabreeze along the coast through downeast Maine will keep temps in the upper 50s to low 60s today with winds off the ocean gusting to 15-20 MPH this afternoon with that seabreeze. Mostly sunny skies today for May 1st. A round of rain is expected tonight with under 0.25" expected  but the bulk will move out by Friday morning with scattered downpours, storms Friday afternoon. Clouds will remain stubburn Friday morning but breaks of sun likely by late morning into the afternoon which will fuel those scattered storms during the 2 PM to 10 PM timeframe on Friday. Not everyone will see a storm. Most should remain non-severe but i can't rule out a few severe storms. Highs Friday stuck in the 50s across Maine but in the upper 60s to upper 70s elsewhere to fuel those storms. This weekend looks unsettled with rain across the interior on Saturday but thunderstorms may develop and move east through the afternoon-evening. Still a lot to be sorted out through next week as a wet pattern looks to be shaping up. Stay tuned for updates!
