Good Wednesday morning! We made it to the middle of the week and we have a very nice day ahead today before some rain arrives tomorrow! Highs today in the upper 70s, low 80s! Lots of sunshine with a few clouds bubbling up this afternoon with a very isolated shower possible. Rain increases tonight and yep you guessed it... More showers ahead for Thursday. These will be light though and drop under 0.25". I wouldn't call Thursday a washout as the afternoon-evening look drier as the light showers move on northward. Few breaks of sun Thursday but otherwise mostly cloudy in between the showers. Highs only in the upper 50s, 60s on Thursday but in the 70s across northern Maine with lots of sun across northern Maine as the bulk of the showers will stay south the majority of the day. The sunshine returns Friday with highs in the low to upper 70s. Spot shower.

MORE RAIN is expected for Saturday! YUP! When was the last time we had a sunny weekend? Unreal. A low pressure system moves up into New England with a steady band of rain across Vermont into New York. Looking like 1-2" of rain on Saturday across the interior with some sun possible in eastern NE as the bulk of the rain looks to stay across the interior on Saturday but watching closely as uncertainty still remains on where exactly the steadiest rain will end up. Drier Sunday with some scattered showers but highs only in the 50s to near 60 both days across NNE. 60s across SNE. Stay tuned for updates. More details over the nect few days on the weekend
