Good Monday morning. A hot start to the week! Highs today in the upper 80s, low 90s with a front lingering across Northern Maine which will keep temps in the 60s! Very humid out there! A few scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon through the evening. A line of storms likely across northern VT this evening as that front slides south from Canada. Most storms should remain non-severe but can not rule out a few severe storms with some damaging winds.

Highs on Tuesday are expected to be cooler across NNE. 70s expected but 90 degrees expected to linger across SNE. Still remaining very humid out there on Tuesday.

A higher risk for storms exists across Southern New Engand on Tuesday. The highest threat looks to be localized flash flooding across SNE into southern NH, Southern ME. Tuesday afternoon-evening is when storms will likely bubble up and will be slow to move out. A lower risk for damaging severe storms but a few are possible outside of the localized flash flooding risk.

A nice cooldown by Wednesday through the end of the week with highs in the 70s to about 80 degrees. Still remaining a bit humid out there though with dew points in the 60s. It does look a bit unsettled with some rain showers around. Stay tuned for more details over the next few days as still some uncertainty remains on how widespread the rain will be.
