Good Wednesday morning. We are cooling things down a bit across the region but the humidity will still be sticking around. Highs today through Friday are expected to be in the 70s to about 80 degrees. Warmest today across SW CT where highs will hang onto the upper 80s. We remain a bit unsettled with a few scattered downpours, storms today through the evening. Non-severe. By tonight we will see an increase in moisture across SNE with a round of steady light rain into mid morning, early afternoon on Thursday. Those showers will be moving out with thunderstorms bubbling up across Western New England for Thursday afternoon through the later evening hours on Thursday. A few storms may be severe with some damaging winds and small hail. Vermont through Western NH into Western MA will want to be aware of some scattered severe storms on Thursday afternoon through the late evening hours. By Friday we dry out with a few scattered showers in the AM. We become mostly sunny for the afternoon with a warming trend into the weekend! Highs Saturday climbing into the 80s to near 90 across the interior. A bit cooler across eastern NE with temps in the low-mid 80s. 70s near the coast of Maine onto Cape Cod. Repeat for Sunday. A few scatttered showers Saturday but looks mainly dry. More widespread showers, storms look possible later Sunday across the interior but the daytime hours will be mainly dry. Stay tuned for updates
