Good evening. Summer is back this week with some very hot and humid temps! The 90s return Monday through Wednesday! Highs Monday expected to be in the Low-mid 90s across SNE. Low 80s across NNE and mid-upper 80s across central NE. Plenty of sunshine expected to kick off the week. The heat peaks Tuesday across SNE with highs in the mid to upper 90s across SNE! Low 90s even along the coast away from CC/islands. Humidity will peak Tuesday so it will feel like 100 degrees across SNE. Plenty of hot and humid days so far this Summer! Another hot day Wednesday across SNE with highs yet again in the low-mid 90s. HEAT WAVE expected across SNE! Maker sure to stay hydrated folks. Still hot along the coast with upper 80s. Check out that drop in temps for Thursday and Friday! Down into the 70s across all of New England. A chilly start is expected as we kick off August with low temps into the 40s and 50s later this week into next weekend! Feeling more like Fall after some big time heat to kick off the week! I am watching the potential for some thunderstorms Wednesday with that cold front later in the day. We will have to keep an eye on that as some severe storms look possible. Some more steady rain looks possible Thursday/Friday as temps drop off but models are pretty far south with the steady rainfall at the moment. Will keep an eye on the trends over the next few days.
