Good Sunday evening. Our cold front is swinging through SNE this evening with some scattered showers, downpours. A significant cooldown begins tonight! Lows expected to fall into the low 40s across Northern New England! That is quite the drop in temps and a huge shock to the system! Few areas likely fall into the upper 30s across the Adirondacks and northern Maine. Temps warmer tonight across SNE with lows in the mid to upper 50s to near 60. Humidity is wiped out this week. Highs Monday will be very refreshing! Upper 60s, low 70s across Northern New England. Mid-upper 70s across SNE away from the coastline. Low 70s along the coast. What a beautiful start to the week with classic fall weather through the week folks! Monday night will be quite chilly across all of New England with lows falling into the 40s across all of the region! Even across SNE, lows will fall into the 40s, low 50s. Impressive for August standards but very refreshing! Highs on Tuesday in the 70s again right through Thursday. Lows rising into the 50s after Tuesday morning for the rest of the week. Upper 60s across NNE on Wednesday, 70s away from far NNE. A few scattered showers expected on Wednesday mainly across NNE but does not look like anything widespread. Highs in the 70s again on Thursday before we warm back up a bit into the upper 70s and 80s into the weekend. Gusty on Thursday with 35-40 MPH gusts and some rough seas mainly across Cape Cod/islands as hurricane Erin passes WELL OFFSHORE but higher than normal wave activity across all the beaches. Plenty of sunshine this week and fall weather with low humidity! What an absolute fantastic week ahead. Enjoy it everyone! We will keep you updated
