Good Tuesday evening. It has felt a bit like Summer over the last few days with some humidity and temps in the 70s and 80s! A cold front is on the way Wednesday. Rain will move into the western part of the region this evening and will continue to move east into the overnight hours. Steady rain expected across NNE into Wednesday morning before rain tapers off by Thursday afternoon. Rainfall totals of around an inch to an inch and a half across Vermont, Central, Northern NH into Maine. Less than an inch across SNE. NNE needs the rain badly so this will help a bit but won't break the drought. Highs Wednesday will be the warmest during the morning with the cold front sweeping through from west to east. Highs in the 50s across VT, much of NH, ME by the late morning into the afternoon and dropping across SNE by the afternoon as the front swings through.
