SNOW INCOMING!
Good Wednesday evening! A big swing in the weather! We started off the week with temps in the 60s and 70s. For tomorrow, (Thursday) we start off with temps near 60 across Southern New England! A few hours later they drop into the low 40s! Upper 20s, low 30s across NNE! A strong cold front incoming! Showers expected mainly across SNE through the afternoon with some upslope snow showers across the mountains. An inch or two across the summits mainly across the Green Mountains. By the evening on Thursday we will see a band of snow make it's way east across SNE as temps drop into the low-mid 60s. A change to snow showers between 6 PM-midnight. Not much snow as only a coating to an inch will fall bit temps will fall into the upper 20s on Thursday night! Any untreated surfaces will be slippery on Thursday evening into Friday morning before temps make it into the low 40s, mid 30s on Friday. 25-35+ MPH wind gusts expected on Thursday will bring some issues to the ski mountains

Good Sunday morning! Rapid snow melt is expected through Wednesday. Highs today in the 50s and near 60 across SNE. Sun breaking out this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine both Monday and Tuesday with highs in the upper 50s across NNE and the mid 60s to near 70 across SNE away from the coastline as those colder water temps will keep the coast in the upper 40s, 50s. Some scattered showers on Wednesday with our next chance at more widespread rain on Thursday. Showers to a change to snow for the mountains on Thursday as a strong cold front crosses the region. A few inches of snow likely for the mountains. More details to come as we get closer! Enjoy this spring warmup and soak it in! We turn colder mid month and snow chances are not over!

Good afternoon! My concern about freezing rain this evening into tonight is going to verify. A burst of snow right now across SNE will change to freezing rain by 5-7 PM across SNE! Very dangerous travel is expected into tonight with 0.25" of ice on the roads and even a bit higher amounts in spots! DO NOT TRAVEL this evening into tonight if you can stay home! This moves out by 1-3 AM Wednesday with temps in the 40s and 50s across the region. Warmest across SNE Wednesday with a lot of melting. Folks, be careful this evening into tonight! Still expecting 3-5" across parts of VT, NH, into ME (see snowfall maps from yesterday. Stay tuned to our Instagram and Facebook story for the latest updates!
Incoming! Good Monday afternoon! A storm system is expected to move through New England Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning. Snow is expected to begin across SNE between 11 and 2 PM Tuesday and will quickly move into VT, NH, southern ME by mid afternoon. 1-3" of snow can be expected across northern Massachusetts with a coating-1" elsewhere. A change to plain rain looks likely south of the MA pike by the evening but I am concerned about freezing rain with temperatures hovering around 33 degrees! Plain rain may be difficult across northern MA and especially the elevations of SNE. A degree will make all the difference here. The NAM model may be a bit too warm with mostly rain across SNE by the evening. Plan on slippery travel through Tuesday evening! 3-5" of snow can be expected across southern VT through the Manchester NH area into central NH and much of Maine away from the far interior! This will be a wetter type of snow with temperatures around 30 degrees. This moves out by…
The blizzard of 2026 brought a historic amount of snow to Southeast Southern New England with 30-36" of snow! Providence, Rhode Island smashed their daily snow record with 37.9" of snow! That smashed the blizzard of 78 totals which was 28.6"!

Good Monday evening! The Winter that just keeps on delivering! More snow is on the way for later Tuesday afternoon into Wednesday across New England! A clipper system is expected to bring 3-5" for much of New England with 5-8" across the Green Mountains into the White Mountains into interior NY as upslope lingers into Wednesday. Snow moves into NY during the afternoon on Tuesday and is expected to continue to move east into New England by the evening hours into overnight Wednesday. By 3-5 AM the steady snow is moving out of SNE, NH, VT but continuing into the morning hours Wednesday and potentially lingering across Downeast Maine and interior areas of Maine into much of Wednesday but becoming lighter. Can't rule out some 6" amounts for northern Maine and towards Down East as an inverted trough may try to enhance totals a bit there. That 3-5" does include northern Massachusetts onto the North Shore! Plowable snow expected with 3-5".
This evening my footage was shown on NBC NEWS on the snowy scenes across Beverly, MA today including a shot of the storm hunter in there! Thank you all for the continued support on the channel!
What an insane day out there across parts of New England. I had an absolute blast with this one. Our localized significant snowstorm is over and wow. Over the last few days I mentioned that some towns across the north shore had a real possibility of a foot of snow with an inverted trough setup and ocean effect! The exact location was impossible to predict a few days out but it all came together in localized areas! The jackpot areas were across Beverly, Hamilton, Marblehead, Salem, Peabody and up through Topsfield! A foot of snow in Beverly, Hamilton, Marblehead and around Middleton, including a localized area of Salisbury.
