RECORD BREAKING HEAT FOR TUESDAY AND WEDNESDAY WITH ISOLATED STORMS. COLD FRONT WEDNESDAY WILL BRING A LINE OF STORMS

Good Monday evening. Get ready for record breaking heat on the way for Tuesday and Wednesday. Tuesday will be the hottest day out of both days but still very hot on Wednesday for many before a cold front swings through with much cooler temps by Thursday! Highs on Tuesday are forecasted to be in the low to upper 90s away from the coastline across SNE! That is HOT for this time of year and 25+ degrees hotter than average for this time of year! WOW. Lots of upper 90s across NNE. We will likely see a few isolated storms Tuesday afternoon-evening across southern NH, VT into Northern MA. Not everyone will see a storm but just a heads up that you may. Most stay dry. A cold front moves in Wednesday but not until later in the day. Highs are still expected to be in the low-mid 90s across much of SNE! 70s across NNE but 80s still remain across eastern NE.

STRONG TO DAMAGING STORMS ACROSS PARTS OF NEW ENGLAND TODAY

STRONG TO DAMAGING STORMS ACROSS PARTS OF NEW ENGLAND TODAY

Good Tuesday morning! Our first severe weather day of the season has arrived! A warm air mass today will drive in a line of strong to damaging storms across parts of the region between 3-9 PM. Storms begin across NY and move into VT, NH, SNE and southern ME through the evening hours. The best chance at any damaging storms look to be across central, southern VT, NH, into central, western SNE but i do think this line will try and hold together as it moves into eastern SNE. The main threats with these storms today will be damaging winds to 60-70 MPH. Not everyone will see a strong or damaging storm today but stay weather aware as it is the first severe weather day of the season! Stay tuned to our Instagram and Facebook story for the latest updates and stay safe out there!

What to expect this week! Some April snow in the forecast!

Good Sunday evening! I hope you all had a great Easter even with the rainy and chilly day out there. We have a chilly start to the week here in New England. Not a great start. Temps dropping into the upper 20s, 30s tonight across the region. Upslope snow showers are expected tonight, Monday. And coating-2" across the peaks NNE. A few snow showers may make it outside of the mountains Monday but no accumulation expected. Highs on Monday only in the 30s across NNE. 40s across SNE. More clouds than sun expected. Tuesday brings in some snow showers across the region especially Tuesday AM. Right now it does look like we will see a coating-2" mainly across the mountains but i can't rule out a coating or so even outside of the mountans. Afternoon highs only in the 30s and 40s! A few scattered snow showers may linger across NNE Tuesday afternoon. A chilly start to the week folks! Nasty. SNE should break out to some sunshine by Tuesday afternoon. Lows this week in the 20s across the region…

A big swing in temps coming Thursday with snow in the forecast!

Good Wednesday evening! A big swing in the weather! We started off the week with temps in the 60s and 70s. For tomorrow, (Thursday) we start off with temps near 60 across Southern New England! A few hours later they drop into the low 40s! Upper 20s, low 30s across NNE! A strong cold front incoming! Showers expected mainly across SNE through the afternoon with some upslope snow showers across the mountains. An inch or two across the summits mainly across the Green Mountains. By the evening on Thursday we will see a band of snow make it's way east across SNE as temps drop into the low-mid 60s. A change to snow showers between 6 PM-midnight. Not much snow as only a coating to an inch will fall bit temps will fall into the upper 20s on Thursday night! Any untreated surfaces will be slippery on Thursday evening into Friday morning before temps make it into the low 40s, mid 30s on Friday. 25-35+ MPH wind gusts expected on Thursday will bring some issues to the ski mountains

Feeling like spring for the next several days! Lots of snow melt

Good Sunday morning! Rapid snow melt is expected through Wednesday. Highs today in the 50s and near 60 across SNE. Sun breaking out this afternoon. Plenty of sunshine both Monday and Tuesday with highs in the upper 50s across NNE and the mid 60s to near 70 across SNE away from the coastline as those colder water temps will keep the coast in the upper 40s, 50s. Some scattered showers on Wednesday with our next chance at more widespread rain on Thursday. Showers to a change to snow for the mountains on Thursday as a strong cold front crosses the region. A few inches of snow likely for the mountains. More details to come as we get closer! Enjoy this spring warmup and soak it in! We turn colder mid month and snow chances are not over!

DANGEROUS TRAVEL THIS EVENING-NIGHT ESPECIALLY ACROSS SNE WITH ICE!!

Good afternoon! My concern about freezing rain this evening into tonight is going to verify. A burst of snow right now across SNE will change to freezing rain by 5-7 PM across SNE! Very dangerous travel is expected into tonight with 0.25" of ice on the roads and even a bit higher amounts in spots! DO NOT TRAVEL this evening into tonight if you can stay home! This moves out by 1-3 AM Wednesday with temps in the 40s and 50s across the region. Warmest across SNE Wednesday with a lot of melting. Folks, be careful this evening into tonight! Still expecting 3-5" across parts of VT, NH, into ME (see snowfall maps from yesterday. Stay tuned to our Instagram and Facebook story for the latest updates!

ACCUMULATING SNOW ON THE WAY TUESDAY! A SLIPPERY AFTERNOON-EVENING COMMUTE COMING!

Incoming! Good Monday afternoon! A storm system is expected to move through New England Tuesday afternoon into early Wednesday morning. Snow is expected to begin across SNE between 11 and 2 PM Tuesday and will quickly move into VT, NH, southern ME by mid afternoon. 1-3" of snow can be expected across northern Massachusetts with a coating-1" elsewhere. A change to plain rain looks likely south of the MA pike by the evening but I am concerned about freezing rain with temperatures hovering around 33 degrees! Plain rain may be difficult across northern MA and especially the elevations of SNE. A degree will make all the difference here. The NAM model may be a bit too warm with mostly rain across SNE by the evening. Plan on slippery travel through Tuesday evening! 3-5" of snow can be expected across southern VT through the Manchester NH area into central NH and much of Maine away from the far interior! This will be a wetter type of snow with temperatures around 30 degrees. This moves out by…
